The Next Chapter Is Here: Why Shuttle Rebranded, and What It Means for the Road Ahead

Five years ago, Shuttle started with a simple observation: growing businesses needed real marketing leadership and execution, not another vendor sending through deliverables on a spreadsheet. That observation hasn’t changed. What has changed is everything we’ve built around it.

This month, we launched our new brand. New logo, new website, new domain, and a sharper story about who we are and who we’re built for. It’s the most visible shift we’ve made since we started, but it’s really the outward sign of a change that’s been happening for a while: Shuttle has grown from a Gold Coast marketing agency into something closer to an outsourced marketing function for ambitious, high-performing businesses. The rebrand is just us finally looking like what we’ve become.

Why now

Rebrands are easy to dismiss as a coat of paint. Ours isn’t. Over the past few years, the businesses we work with have asked us for less “can you run this campaign” and more “can you own our marketing.” That’s a different relationship. It calls for a different level of trust, a different operating model, and, we decided, a different identity to signal that we take it seriously.

Our old brand did a good job of describing an agency. It didn’t do a good job of describing a team that sits inside a business, thinks like an internal function, and is judged on the same commercial outcomes as an in-house hire would be. So we rebuilt the brand from that starting point: what does it feel like to have Shuttle as your marketing department, your CMO, or your growth partner, without the overhead of building that function from scratch?

Beyond .com.au: expanding into the US, UK and New Zealand

The most practical sign of that shift is one you might not notice at first glance: we’ve moved off shuttle.com.au and onto shuttle.marketing.

That’s not just a tidier domain. It’s a statement of intent. The challenges we solve for Australian businesses, filling a marketing leadership gap, building a function without the cost or risk of a full internal hire, aren’t unique to Australia. We’re seeing the same demand from businesses in the United States, the United Kingdom and New Zealand, and we’ve built our new website, systems and delivery model to serve clients in all four markets from day one.

Practically, that means:

  • A domain and brand that isn’t tied to one country or one market
  • Delivery capability structured to support clients across US, UK, NZ and AU time zones
  • The same embedded, senior-led model, wherever our clients are based

This is the first real step in a broader international expansion, and we’ll have more to share on local teams and market-specific offerings as those plans take shape. For now, if you’re a business in the US, UK or NZ wondering whether Shuttle could work the way it has for our Australian clients, the answer is yes, and we’d like to talk.

Sharpening our focus: fewer projects, more partnership

The other change behind the new brand is arguably the bigger one: we’ve deliberately narrowed what we do.

The typical agency model is built around projects. A campaign, a website, a rebrand, a burst of content. You brief it, the agency delivers it, and then you’re back to square one, managing the strategy, the coordination and the next brief yourself. It works fine for one-off needs. It works less well when what a business actually needs is an ongoing, accountable marketing function that shows up every week, understands the business as well as an internal hire would, and keeps moving the number that matters.

We’ve moved away from being that project-shop. We still do great creative and campaign work, but it now happens inside one of three clear ways of working with us, rather than as a grab-bag of disconnected services:

360° Solutions: a full marketing team embedded in your business, covering strategy, execution and reporting as one connected function, not a series of separate projects.

CMOaaS (Chief Marketing Officer as a Service): senior marketing leadership on demand, for businesses that need strategic direction and accountability at the top of their marketing function without the cost of a full-time executive hire.

MDaaS (Marketing Department as a Service): your outsourced marketing department, built to work as an extension of your internal team rather than an external vendor.

Each of these exists because a specific type of business asked for it: the one that’s outgrown ad hoc project work but isn’t ready (or doesn’t want) to build a marketing department from the ground up. That’s the gap we’ve chosen to focus on, and narrowing our offer to it means every client gets a team that’s genuinely specialised in solving that problem, rather than one spread thin across everything an agency might conceivably be asked to do.

What this means if you already work with us

If you’re an existing client, nothing about the way we work with you changes overnight. What you should expect is more consistency: the same embedded, outcomes-focused model, now backed by a brand, a website and a team structure that’s built specifically around it, rather than adapted from a traditional agency framework.

If you’re not yet a client, and you’ve been trying to figure out whether you need a bigger internal team, a CMO, or another agency retainer, this is a good moment to have that conversation. That’s exactly the decision our three service models are built to solve.

The journey ahead

A rebrand is a milestone, not a destination. The work now is proving that the new brand, the new markets and the sharper focus add up to a better outcome for the businesses we work with, in Australia and in every new market we move into. That’s the standard we’re holding ourselves to.

Thanks for being part of the journey so far. Here’s to the next launch, wherever in the world it takes us.
